We have a school veggie patch and are composting our waste. Our students are keen gardeners and like to grow food, collect eggs as well as developing an understanding of how to recycle, reuse and reduce waste.
Because reading is a thinking activity it is critical for children to understand what has been read to them or what they have read. This short video shows the important role you can play in developing your child’s understanding through questioning and commenting….and having fun at the same time!
A team of 22 students went to Symmons Plains to participate in the State Cross Country Championships. Well done to our 2011 champions at Symmons Plains.
