Bulb Planting Day

At Richmond Primary School we enjoy teaching and learning in beautiful landscaped grounds. In August we have our Blub Planting Day. All students are involved in planting bulbs around the school grounds.  As you can see we enjoy getting our hands dirty!

Our grounds and facilities

img_3079Our landscaped grounds and buildings are situated in a quiet street in the historic town of Richmond in Tasmania. We boast an impressive school gym/hall, canteen, a multi-purpose room/Music Room, Learning Support Facility including a student kitchen, Art Room, Literacy and Numeracy Support Room and Library. Our middle and upper Classrooms all have Interactive White Boards, computers and have been recently renovated to provide our students with comfortable and inspiring places to work and learn. Our Early Childhood classrooms have been purpose built and have an early childhood play area which boasts its own stage, dry creek bed, landscaped grounds and sandpit. Our Kindergarten and Child Care Centre are in new buildings and have play areas as well as a gardening area with planter boxes.  Come and have a look ……..a wonderful place for children to both play and learn!
